Light Legs · 60 tablets
The red vine leaf formula that European pharmacies have relied on for decades — brought to Australia at the full studied dose.
Always read the label and follow the directions for use. Formulated for adults.
Why legs feel this way
Legs that feel heavy and full. A sock mark that stays. Shoes that fit at breakfast and don't by dinner. It builds on long days, in the heat, and through the hours we spend standing still or sitting down.
Chronic venous disease affects up to 39% of Australians.
Medical Services Advisory Committee, Endovenous Laser Therapy for Varicose Veins, Canberra 2003; cited in Liu G, Clarke JL, Mohan I, Ultrasound 2022;30(3):236–45. Figure covers adults of both sexes — no Australian study reports prevalence for women separately.
What's inside
Directly reduces fluid accumulation in the lower legs and ankles.
Helps minimise swelling-induced leg restlessness and tightness.
Gives blood vessel walls strength and resilience.
Improves vein elasticity and tone.
Helps move blood out of stagnant pools in the lower legs.
What makes it different
It would be cheaper to put twelve ingredients on the label at sprinkle quantities. Light Legs puts 720 mg behind one and lets four others support it.
Red vine leaf is the standard ingredient for this concern across French and German pharmacy. It has never had a serious presence on an Australian shelf.
No diuretics, no caffeine, no laxative herbs. Losing water is not the same as supporting circulation, and the difference matters over months.
The dose is the difference
Red vine leaf has been studied in randomised, placebo-controlled trials at two daily doses. Most products that use the ingredient at all use a fraction of either. Light Legs is formulated at the higher one.
Questions
Give it twelve weeks. Both trials ran for that long and measured at week six and week twelve. At six weeks people reported feeling better — but so did the placebo group, so that early change isn't something we can put down to the ingredient. It was only at twelve weeks that the red vine leaf groups separated from placebo. So take it daily and judge it at the twelve-week mark. Anything quicker than that is not something the research supports, and we'd rather tell you now than have you expect it in a fortnight.
Two tablets a day, taken together with water — 360 mg of red vine leaf extract in each, 720 mg a day in total. Take them at the same time each day rather than splitting them morning and night; the clinical research dosed once daily. Sixty tablets is a month.
Speak to your doctor or pharmacist before starting, particularly if you take blood-thinning medication or are pregnant or breastfeeding.
No — it works from the inside rather than by external pressure, and the two are commonly used together.
